The Krubera Cave, located in a disputed territory along the border of Georgia in eastern Europe is the world’s deepest cave. The official recorded depth of the deepest part of Krubera is 2,197 meters or 7,208 feet. For a bit of perspective that's six-and-a-half Eiffel Towers stacked on top of each other end to end. These stunning photos give just a taste of its real scale and grandeur. Since the Krubera Cave’s initial discovery in 1960 scientists have attempted to explore and catalogue its secrets. The current official depth of the Krubera Cave was recorded by Ukrainian diver Gennadiy Samokhin in 2012. Just imagine six Eiffel Towers stacked on top of each other. Wow. Sc...

If You Had These Tents, Camping Might Actually Be Fun. Just Maybe.

Science
Camping can be fun, but it can also be the worst. It doesn't matter how great something is, if it involves bugs, bears, and other things you wouldn't want tearing into your skin, the potential for it to become a disaster is high. With these tents, that potential is still there, but at least you're putting your comfort in danger in style. Some of these are more elaborate than others, but they're all extremely cool. If you don't want to go camping in these, you're crazy (or have access to a bed that's surrounded by four walls and covered by a roof). Check them out! 1.) I’m looking to leave someone else. Someone you may not know about. Someone who takes up most of my time, distracts me from spending time with my wife, and even spends time with me during the late hours of the night. Her name is iPhone 5. She’s extremely smart, funny, reliable, and keeps me up to date with all the latest trends. And although she’s always by my sid...

You Know Animals Are Awesome, But Animal Astronauts Are Out Of This World.

Science
We've all heard stories of animal heroes, but what about animals that were true pioneers? Did you know that the first astronauts were actually cuddly little animals? It's true! Scientists were afraid of the effects of space travel would be hazardous to humans, so they sent animals up instead. Here are some of the brave animals who made giant leaps for humankind. Unfortunately, the majority of the animals sent into space didn't have a safe journey back home. RIP brave animal astronauts! This weird obsession with lobbing animals at the sky started in 1783 when the Montgolfier Brothers invented the hot air balloon. lauriesharp Instead of putting a convicted criminal in the balloon during its first public test flight li...

Here Are 10 Simple Ways That Water Can Kill You. So Much For Going Swimming Ever Again.

Science
The human body is approximately 65 percent water. By that logic, you might be tempted to think that water is your friend in all things as a human being. That is sadly dead wrong.
